Basswood Lodge started in 1997 as a family run business and continues to be today. Everyone on my team is a part of my extended family. We are truly blessed to live this life and we take nothing for granted.
I grew up hunting, fishing, and trapping the marshes and rivers of the St. Lawrence River Valley. From a young age my parents taught me the value of a good days work. I have taken this mentality and applied it to everything I have done in life. We own a lot of ground and have exclusive access to the most productive ground that exists here. I expect everyone on my team to have the same work ethic I have. I can promise you no grass grows between our toes while trying to give you the experience you came here to get. I have built a crew of professional waterfowl guides who take every aspect of the business as seriously as I do. Not many outfitters these days have as much skin in the game as we do.
